I like fast and instant sketching of emotions, very little things of life, inner life expressed on faces, as those are too fugitive for a camera - always my mad obsession for recording life.
With iPad I am back to sketching. I lost a lot and I must exercise, especially as iPad sketching is very different than paper. It’s a bit of a shame to post this, but sharing is growing.

. nikoroe's j-life
Nikoroe is Nicolas Loeillot.
'Nikoroe' is a mix of 'niko-niko', smiling in Japanese, and 'kokoroe' which means 'wisdom, knowledge, common sense'. So nikoroe is kinda “happy wisdom”.
It is also a “forced” contraction and deformation of my name in Japanese: ニコラ ロイヨ.
I live in Tokyo, where I raise 2 teenagers to great human beings. That's for the j-life.
I also spend a lot of time in my house in South of France that I try to turn into an eco-house.
I practice Kendo more as a religion than as a sport.
I document my thoughts and life with some photographs, no other ambition in this domain.
I work at LM3LABS that I founded 9 years ago.
